I am a registered psychologist (College of Psychologists of British Columbia # 2227) providing treatment for adults, youth and children that is comprehensive and guided by up to date research and best practice guidelines. I have been trained in a variety of treatment methods, which allows me to use an integrative approach to therapy. Ultimately, my goal as a therapist is to meet each client where they are at, and to tailor treatment to suit the unique life circumstances of the individual clients I see. I am also an animal lover and have a therapy dog in training who may join us in session!

- Interpersonal Therapy for adults with Eating Disorders

- Mindfulness for youth with anxiety

- Parenting groups

I have worked in a variety of settings including hospital inpatient, outpatient, community and private settings, providing treatment for clients with a range of difficulties including: mood and anxiety disorders, relational trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder eating disorders, parenting difficulties, relationship problems. I also have an extensive background and training in providing psychoeducational assessments for children, teens and adults.

 

I received my Master’s and PhD degrees from Simon Fraser University. Prior to entering private practice, I completed a pre-doctoral residency in general psychology focusing on assessment and treatment for adults, children and youth within a hospital setting. I previously held appointments at Child and Youth Mental Health, Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services, the Inner City Youth Mental Health Program and SFU’s Clinical Psychology Centre.


I am an active member of the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia, the BC Psychological Association and the Canadian Psychological Association. I have provided supervision to senior graduate students as a clinical associate at the Simon Fraser University Clinical Psychology Centre. As a registered psychologist, I am actively involved in ongoing continuing education in order to provide the most cutting edge, up to date treatment approaches to the clients I work with.
